Antonioni and Bergman in the 21st Century

To celebrate Antonioni and Bergmanís legacies and reassess their work in the 21st century, the Italian and Scandinavian Studies sections of the Division of European Languages and Culture at the University of Edinburgh have designed a comparative symposium devoted to the two directors, which will take the format of an interactive day of presentations, panel discussions and Q&A sessions. This event will be complemented by screenings of four films from each director.
