In the age of Facebook and digital communication, an unlikely group of British teenagers have chosen to define themselves through one of the most ancient, and potent, forms of culture out there - the spoken poem.
We root for these hugely likeable young artists as they develop impressive voices for their anguish and ideals, and share in their suspense as the big day arrives.
Perhaps nothing in the film quite matches the slo-mo sequence at the very beginning, but this is a worthwhile record.
Seriously memorable with some spine-tingling recitals.
