The narrative switchbacks have been executed well enough, though it feels like soulless technical exercise rather than human story.
The script acts on the film as a rock does when strapped to a corpse, but there's a certain noirish sheen to the cinematography that means the whole thing slips down sweeter than it really ought.
On the plus side its sinister night-time locations set it apart from your average Britcrim thriller. On the down, one doesn't quite believe any of it.
