That’s My Boy is nowhere near as awful as Jack And Jill and very occasionally it hits moments that are genuinely funny; but, like many family reunions, there are many more when you check your watch and wonder at what time you can decently creep away.
At 116 minutes, it’s at least half-an-hour too long for this kind of mean-spirited, one-gag time waster.
Not nearly as terrible as burped-out Sandler disasters of recent years, there's enough funny stuff here to remind us of his talent. Still, it's not for everyone.
