Bob, a cab-driving serial killer who stalks his prey on the city streets alongside his reluctant protégé Tim, who must make a life or death choice between following in Bob's footsteps or breaking free from his captor.
Sadly, the film flounders in the twist-heavy final act, which never really convinces. A shame, as Chained keeps you hooked until then.
Plenty nasty but singularly lacking in clever new twists on a weary genre.
Chained is silly and nasty at the same time.
It's better acted...though less palatable than 2008's Surveillance, a violent affair set in similar terrain.
