Special ops interrogation officer Jimmy Vickers tracks down a gang who slaughtered his parents. With police closing in & his old unit on his trail, he has to to evade capture long enough to complete his gruesome crusade.
Viewed as a Brit answer to ’70s and ’80s exploitation flicks, endless Seagal movies and First Blood (Dyer is rogue SAS; his colonel issues Trautman-esque warnings), it’s surprisingly decent.
Ronseal cinema, devoid of wit and menace.
Danny Dyer does his patented Dyer Stare all the way through this bizarre and ludicrous piece of revenge porn.
Dyer is off to join the cast of EastEnders, signing up for handsomely paid TV work that will sadly leave him little time to make movies such as Pimp and Run for Your Wife. I wish him every success in his new job and hope that his tenure at the Queen Vic is a long one.
