The plotting itself is clumsy and predictable, and the sub-Office-style jokes are often flat-footed. Frost himself, though, is an engaging screen presence.
All the film really has to offer is the sight of a brilliant cast pulling uninspired Brit-com moves.
The extremely likable Nick Frost is the driving force behind this rather lumpen British romcom.
