Down-on-his-luck Carter has recently become homeless, single and unemployed. Desperate to win back his ex-girlfriend, he goes off on an adventure throughout London to find her, picking up some odd helpers along the way.
Although not charmless, it breathes no new life into the rom-com genre, being neither particularly romantic nor comic.
The script persistently lets things down, and there’s something irredeemably dreary about both palette and scope.
Let us never speak of this again.
