When police officer Carter (Aaron Poole) discovers a blood-soaked man limping down a deserted road, he rushes him to a local hospital with a barebones, night shift staff. As cloaked, cult-like figures surround the building, the patients and staff inside start to turn ravenously insane. The Void doesn’t have the patience to build great suspense before doling out its first reveal, nor does it have the eye to make it special when it comes.
Lacking anything approaching a decent plot, this messy horror movie lives up to its title for all the wrong reasons.
