Entertaining documentary about the titular president that is, at times, devastatingly relevant.
The Reagan Show doesn’t tell us much about Reagan that we didn’t already know. It reminds us what a limited and one-dimensional politician he was – but also what a consummate performer whenever the cameras were in sight.
It’s a bit lenient and nostalgic about the Gipper – which is made easier by the current incumbent.
Some interesting insights, but nothing a cursory scan through Wikipedia would’t offer.
