The final choreographed sequence, complete with umbrellas and heavy rain, shows a mysterious pickpocketing "duel" between Fu and Kei, competing for this young woman's heart, and perhaps her soul, too. It's a diverting, elegant finale.
It’s a thriller too laidback to actually thrill but has so much offbeat charm that you’ll ignore the feeling you’ve just been hustled.
A beautifully made, deliberately puzzling thriller.
