Fantasy horror action drama in which an army unit attempts to rescue a scientist from a city controlled by people who have been infected following a viral outbreak.
It is frequently crass and very derivative, but the filmmakers’ enthusiasm levels never flag. Nor, it goes without saying, does the bloodletting.
