This artist-led festival has been has been created as a positive reaction to the loss of two Glasgow festivals in 2012, ‘Into The New’ and ‘New Territories’. The Buzzcut team believes that it is important that art continues to flourish even in difficult conditions, and offers this festival as an exciting new opportunity for artists and audiences to engage in cutting edge performance work in Glasgow this spring.
The festival is supported by, and will be publicised by the Arches Theatre.

Even though this wonderfully chipper, artist-led mini festival has responded to the gap left by the abrupt absence of New Territories in Glasgow, the energy that rackets through the Old Hairdressers is reminiscent of yesteryear Mayfests and the city's 1990 beanfeast of culture.
Fingers crossed now for Buzzcut 2013.
