Futureproof is a nationwide, international festival of radical new work created with young people and for everyone, supported by Scotland’s Year of Young People 2018. It has been incredible to work with Lucy Gaizely from 21Common as co-curator to bring together the most exciting theatre makers from all over the world, who will work side by side with Scottish artists and communities of young people. Ten new productions from some of the biggest global names in theatre-making and a host of our best Scottish talent will take place in ten locations across the country in September and October. We have designed this project alongside our fabulous new Year of Young People Project Team who have spent the year with us, embedded at the heart of the company, helping shape this new era for the National Theatre of Scotland.
