The perfect treat, Scrooge is a heart-warming family story with stunning sets and costumes, specially created illusions by magician Paul Kieve (acclaimed for the magic effects in the Harry Potter films) and a fantastic musical score which features the Oscar nominated hit Thank You Very Much.
Tommy Steele is the only reason to go and see Scrooge – unless, of course you’re related to one of the Starstruck Stage School students who play the children.
It would be wrong, though, to underestimate the emotional force of Bob Tomson’s beautifully-staged production, superbly designed by Paul Farnsworth.
