This blissfully funny show follows the incredible adventures of our handsome hero Richard Hannay, complete with stiff-upper-lip, British gung-ho and pencil moustache as he encounters dastardly murders, double-crossing secret agents, and, of course, devastatingly beautiful women.
This wonderfully inventive and gripping comedy thriller features four fearless actors, playing 139 roles in 100 minutes of fast-paced fun and thrilling action.
Not 'the world's favourite comedy', then, as sarkily billed, but with some glorious moments. You'd be a bally cad to disagree.
It all makes for a jolly good show, and a great night out. Definitely one not to be missed.
It is a rare treat to sit in a theatre and feel like a child, entranced, delighted and quietly waiting for the next thrill. The style and stage craft of Maria Aitken's production is fantastically fresh and never fails to captivate, maintaining a strong pace in the narrative and giving its many, many characters room to grow and develop.
It’s clever, laugh-out-loud entertaining stuff.
This is a riotous and enjoyable romp through a type of story usually depicted in a far more serious light.
