From the twisted minds of Charlotte Ford and Geoff Sobelle (2005’s sold out, smash hit all wear bowlers), comes their latest concoction of off-the-chart physical humour and provocative storytelling.

Returning to the festival for the first time since 2006, New York’s renowned Barrow Street Theatre is pleased to present Flesh and Blood & Fish and Fowl; the world’s greatest hour of existential clowning, about life, love, office politics and survival, culminating in an unforgettable, mind-blowing showdown between a ravenous natural world and the last humans on earth.

The critical consensus

As a piece of theatre, [it] is short, clever, spectacular, and brilliantly executed.

It is an impressive work of staging and design...

Like Franz Kafka by way of Charlie Chaplin, or Mad Men after the apocalypse, this is one really wild show that bites.

****(*)Neil Cooper, The Herald

A dark ecological satire.
