There isn’t a moment here that doesn’t ring with heartbreaking and uplifting truth, and it’s all delivered with Bissett’s irresistible virtuosity and charisma.
Bissett and her castmates give an energetic performance, enthralling the audience as though they had just watched a show by their favourite band. If Bissett hopes to inspire girls to follow their dreams and embrace the highs and lows of their lives, she has surely succeeded.
Cora Bisset utilises her past skills as an indie star to sculpt a form of gig – theatre to tell her story marvellously.
