The critical consensus

This remains a show well worth enrolling for.

Mark Shenton, The Stage, 14/07/2011

While the dominant colour here may be pink, the end result is musical theatre gold.

Alan Chadwick, STV, 24/08/2011

It’s pink, fluffy, furry, glitzy, ditzy and uplifting. Go see it as soon as you can!

*****Adelle Hopkins, Theatre in Scotland, 23/08/2011

Legally Blonde brings the West End to the West of Scotland and a packs an ensemble worthy of the Great White Way.

****(*)Scott Purvis, WhatsOnStage.com, 24/08/2011

Legally Blonde is a bright, daft, feel-good show that features 20 instantly forgettable musical numbers, and a plot so implausible that it borders on the absurd, in all senses of the word. Yet it boasts a seriously witty script by Heather Hach that turns even the worst of the nonsense into a damned good joke.

****(*)Joyce McMillan, 08/09/2011

It explodes with such energy, its cast are top class, and the whole show is fun - with an enormous pink and fluffy capital F.
