The critical consensus

At a mere 65-minutes the film is far too slight; Castaldo’s back-story and experience of homelessness are imparted cursorily, with his recurring role on 30 Rock (perhaps his most notable acting achievement) perversely relegated to the end credits.

Notionally fond but often patronising profile.

**(*)(*)(*)Robbie Collin, The Telegraph, 11/10/2012

This old dog's got charm, but there's got to be a better way to tell his story than this.

**(*)(*)(*)Adam Woodward, Little White Lies, 11/10/2012

A fascinating, rather discomforting film.

Philip French, The Observer, 14/10/2012

Everyone from Meryl Streep to George Clooney spares time to gush about his real-ness, though the film touches too lightly on Radio's awkward novelty status, and the brief, necessarily one-sided nature of his celebrity relationships.
