Some cunning clowning with chairs (from Plutot La Vie) led on to an unexpectedly poignant tour de force from Valentina Sordo, whose hilarious antics as a dancer bedevilled by technical gremlins morphed into a touching expression of resilience and artistic endeavour in the face of hostile forces.
