A mesmerising and touching dance/theatre work telling the story of how the lives of a loving couple change as the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease start to show.

This subtle tale of compassion and tenderness weaves movement, performance and live music together, creating an immersive experience. Imprints is a creative collaboration between Maite Delafin (dancer and Artistic Director of Nux) actor Michael Sherrin, musician Poppy Ackroyd and sound designer John Lemke telling the story of how a couple's lives change as the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease emerge gradually, and how it affects the intimate relationship of two people in love. The critical consensus

I couldn’t make out where this was going, what was happening, how their marriage was breaking apart – and breaking apart it most certainly was. Until I realised, and it does become clear very easily, that this must be about mental health. Alzheimer’s disease seemed likely. And so it was to prove on reading the programme afterwards.
