‘Developing Perspectives’ showcases the work of no less than 50 talented North Lanarkshire pupils who participated in the Creative Residency, 2012. The Residency is an annual arts programme open to S4 pupils from across all 24 secondary schools in the local authority.
Participants spend a week in June at Kilbowie Outdoor Centre, Oban, where they are mentored by some of Scotland’s top art practitioners. Disciplines include Visual Art, Musical Composition, Print Making, Film Making, Jewellery Design, Printed Textiles and Digital Photography. This is then followed by a series of optional Masterclasses which are held in September. Read more …
