With spectacular sets and costumes, fabulous songs and dances and bags of slapstick fun Snow White is a pantomime not to be missed.
The slickness of the musical numbers and the grandeur of the set may have the high production values of a national company, but Snow White has the intimacy of a community-focused performance.
If the show inevitably revolves around Dolan, Glover packs a fine punch, not to mention plenty of puns, into his performance as Dame Bree. But in terms of actual acting chops, you’d have to say Ellie Chidzey gloriously wicked, and seductive, baddie, Queen Evilyn, takes some beating.
