Tinker Bell meets Periwinkle and ventures into the winter woods with her and Tinker Bell's other friends to find the secret of fairy wings.
It’s professionally crafted fluff, disposable as chewing gum, but likely to hit the spot for the specific female primary-school age-group the film is aimed squarely at. Just don’t expect any of the multi-layered humour that Pixar and Dreamworks have made their own.
The brightly-coloured visuals and frenetic story ensures this is little more than a cinematic stocking filler.
Sweet, safe.
This Disney animation is targetted with almost chilling laser accuracy at the tweenie sleepover market.
A worthy message, quietly delivered.
