Three avid bird watchers compete to spot the rarest birds in North America at a prestigious annual event.
The plotting is too incidental and episodic and it’s not funny enough but the drama picks up towards the end and the stars generate a certain amiability.
Only Wilson, doing his slimy yuppie act, is even remotely watchable.
The whole thing squawks “in-flight movie” louder than a startled parrot.
The three leads must have put in the hours to-ing and fro-ing about the country, but the film they're supporting is pretty much for the birds.
Sentimental, unfunny.
