This documentary about the 1988 Piper Alpha disaster in the North Sea is gripping and heartwrenching.
Fire in the Night doesn't have the brio of Senna or One Day in September, but the tales of bravery and tragedy it has to tell are like Titanic and The Towering Inferno rolled into one.
Clearly it’s still difficult to for many of them to talk about what happened that night, but the film affords them the time and the space to find the right words to tell their stories, which they do with clarity and honesty.
This is a deeply moving testament to the bravery shown by some ordinary men facing extraordinary circumstances.
