Renowned ball-room dancer Pierre Dulaine takes his program, Dancing Classrooms, back to his city of birth, Jaffa, to teach Jewish and Palestinian Israelis to dance and compete together.
Exasperatingly trite, but also rather sweet.
Medalia's documentary extols the importance of tolerance and may appeal to a younger audience.
Dulaine is a force for good, and the film’s likability outweighs any pessimism or cynicism.
Dulaine calls it "a social development" programme. His efforts with the kids make for an uplifting and gently comic documentary.
Fun and sweet, but possibly lacking in any real emotional weight.
Despite the whiff of reality TV, only the very hard-hearted could fail to be charmed.
Hopefully the leaders in the Middle East will take a look at this film as I’m sure Pierre could teach them all some new steps.
