Danza Contemporanea de Cuba return to the UK by overwhelming demand following their first outstanding visit in 2010, which resulted in Mambo 3XX1 by the Cuban, George Céspedes, being nominated for both an Olivier Award and an Achievement in Dance TMA Award.
The programme includes the World Premiere of Sombrisa by renowned Israeli choreographer, Itzik Galili, Carmen?! and Edinburgh's first chance to catch the incredible Mambo 3XX1.
This programme features two of its most popular works and one brand new premiere, all of which showcase the company’s singular attributes.
It’s the company’s ability to remain resolutely Cuban, yet embrace elements of the international choreographers who visit them, that makes Danza Contemporánea de Cuba so special.
