Under the direction of Kally Lloyd-Jones, traditional touches intermingle with modern; alongside the high leg kicks and Minelli-esque vamping, classical dance sequences are infused with 21st Century twitches, and old cabaret songs sit side-by-side with vacuous pop and darker moments of emotional depth.
If life is a cabaret, old chums, these Chordelia troupers make it into an engaging song-and-dance.
