Loyalty: Every day young men and women die in wars, which favour powerful interests but bring them and their families very little reward. The soldiers are young, working class, and as vulnerable to enemies they cannot see as to the errors of their own side. What is it that persuades them to place their lives on the line to defend tyrants, corporations and empires?
Operation Phantom Fury: An old soldier soothes his furies with Andy Stewart sometime in the year 2030. Paul Laverty wrote this on impulse after watching the news coverage of the tenth anniversary of events of 11th of September 2001 in homage to those who are never remembered.
Loyalty (3 stars) and Operation Phantom Fury (4 stars).
