Barney and his team, known as "The Expendables", come into conflict with ruthless arms dealer Conrad Stonebanks, the Expendables' co-founder, who is determined to destroy the team.
More sure-footed than Expendables 1 and 2, and considerably more pumped up – it pauses for neither breath nor a change of colostomy bag. Dumb fun.
You couldn’t call it confusing; this film knows what it wants, and gets it by the shortest possible route. It may be boneheaded; ridiculous it isn’t.
So aggressively old school in every way that it's actually rather charming.
