Within the first minute of this very patchy sequel, there are gags about vomit, poo, and dildos - and the jokes go downhill from there.
The comedic timing from the cast, particularly Byrne and Efron, is spot on, as is the empowering message to young women that hits a similar beat to the egalitarian world imagined in Magic Mike XXL.
The follow-up to the surprise-hit party-animal comedy from 2014 offers more of the same, but diluted with lots of standard sequel material.
