With its ridiculous premise, heavy sentiment and sub-par effects, Nine Lives is a real cat-astrophe for all concerned.

In its own feeble way, Nine Lives is quite fun.

Let’s blame the lazy, leaden script for a film that leaves you with that sinking feline.

Kevin Spacey is a pompous businessman trapped in a cat’s body, with far from hilarious results.
