The Gateways, is a small private members' club in the heart of Chelsea, one of the first and most infamous women’s clubs in the world. Club Gateways is a star crossed lover’s story set amongst gangster warfare. This passionate extravaganza is the taster of the full version of The Gates - the 1950s Blues, Jazz, and Gospel influenced musical spectacle.

Club Gateways is the brainchild of Glasgow based writer, Rachel Jury, who wrote the book and lyrics, with the score by composer and musician, Andrew Cruikshank.


The critical consensus

With a bit of careful editing there remains considerable promise in this work-in-progress production.
