Symphony captures the anarchic spirit of a festival and fuses it with high calibre writing and performance in an hour of hilarious, heart-warming and innovative theatre.
There is no shortage of energy or infectious fun in Symphony, but in the end it lacks real depth.
As a storytelling format, the gig-meets-play set up is great. All three pieces are snappy, easy to watch and never lose your attention. But as an evening show, at just under an hour and with the theatre space woefully underused, it can’t help but feel slight.
