An emotionally mature work. My only quibble is the play's moral dilemma resolution.
As Jamie, Brown makes the most of Oran Mor, buzzing around the space like a furious wasp. Given Hurley’s reputation, and the quality of this raw material, it can’t be long before we see him on a bigger stage.
The premise is simple; but the writing is brilliant, sharp, poetic, passionate, full of searing insight into the politics of blame, matched with a brilliant eye for the detail of life in divided Britain today.
