Taken on its own merits, Changing Lines is a well written, well acted, but overly familiar look at theatre folk.
If plays about theatre are always a high-risk enterprise, then this is one that has so far failed to sharpen its focus to the point where anyone might seriously be expected to give a damn for its self-absorbed characters, or for the unremarkable troubles that assail them.
