Our panto this year is full of fun and laughter with oodles of gags, local references, chart hits, outrageous costumes and lots of singing, dancing and shouting out. Our fabulous cast of professional actors are supported by a chorus of talented, local, young performers from across East Lothian.
The Brunton specialises in producing fun and interactive traditional pantomimes that are suitable for all the family, from 4 to 104!Pleasing enough, although director Tim Licata has yet to find his pantomime rhythm, particularly in the set pieces and underlying relationships. There is a great song-selection though and real inclusiveness about the whole.
This top notch professional cast gets the audience totally on board over the panto’s two acts through to its rousing, rocking, inclusive finale.
Despite some terrific, spirited work from the Brunton’s regular chorus of local kids, this is a panto that delivers a jolly evening of unpretentious family entertainment, without ever really pulling out all the theatrical stops, or going that extra mile, from Musselburgh along to the Pans.
