Truman Capote's classic tale of vivacious, good-time girl Holly Golightly in 1940's New York comes to life on stage! Read more …
Inspired by the classic book and the iconic film starring Audrey Hepburn, this sparkling, sophisticated production stars Emily Atack (The Inbetweeners,Dads Army) as Holly, Matt Barber (Downton Abbey) as Fred and Victor McGuire (Trollied, Bread) as Joe Bell.
Adapted by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony and Olivier Award-winning playwright Richard Greenberg and directed by Nikolai Foster, the tale is told through the eyes of a young writer who is completely fascinated by Holly Golightly, the exquisite extrovert who every woman wants to be, and every man wants to be with.
With memorable songs from the era, this stylish production is set to capture the hearts of audiences and sparkle like a diamond in a Tiffany's window.
In the end, there are no Hollywood happy ever afters here, only long goodbyes in a bittersweet affair to remember.
Director Nikolai Foster has created a sophisticated new insight into old characters. Instead at sitting at odds though, it complements the 1961 film version well – as another side of the classic tale.
A great night out.
