Dogstar teams up with one of Sweden’s leading independent theatre companies, Profilteatern of Umea, and turns to perhaps our greatest existential threat outside The White House – climate change – in a new comedy by one of our most original and witty playwrights, Morna Pearson.
The script and dramaturgy hark back to the political ceilidh play format of 7:84, and the broad caricatures mock the naivety of the characters, leaving the sometimes jaunty playfulness of the exchanges uncomfortable against the seriousness of the message.
