Thatcher bashed the unions, the miners, the journalists. We used to fight. We marched, wrote songs, held rallies. Cameron and Clegg are bashing the students, the NHS and the schools....and the bankers get paid for causing the problem. What's happening to Scotland?

Dave Anderson, Allan Tall, Sandy Nelson and other ex-Wildcat performers appear alongside special guests from the worlds of Scottish film, theatre, television, literature and comedy. With original songs from Wildcat and 7:84 and archive news footage from the '80s, 90's and '00s.

The critical consensus

The band – all nine, with a stonking brass section featuring Lesley Robertson, George Drennan, John Sampson and Allan Tall – kicked out a gladsome backing to songs that wore heart and politics on their sleeve. The nippy, clever wordplay still sparkled. Dave Anderson was in his element.

A lot of water has passed under bridge since Wildcat and 7:84 came into being. And in age of political apathy it’s a treat to relive the community spirit of passion and protest they stood for.
