Private Party is an immersive, engaging performance event from the award-winning Janice Parker. Full of punchy and poignant surprises, this strange, humorous and personal work treats its audience to a world of convivial delights. Will you, or won’t you, join the party?
This is new devised work by Janice Parker in collaboration with live art performer Richard Layzell and a company of performers. Parker’s Private Dancer was selected for IETM in Glasgow and the Made in Scotland showcase at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2010, where it won a Herald Angel award. It has since gone on to tour, including a performance as part of the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad’s Unlimited : The Revelation Starts Here event at London’s South Bank Centre.The Arches, Glasgow from Thursday October 24, 2013, until Sunday October 27, 2013.
