Lorna Irvine previews Colette Sadler's new piece.
Internationally celebrated choreographer Colette Sadler's Geist is unique in that it takes as a motif animism, the blurring of physical and spiritual realms.
Co-created with German set designer Philine Rinnert, who previously collaborated with Sadler on I not I and We Are the Monsters, and featuring music by American musician Brendan Dougherty, it is part dance piece, part art installation.
Five dancers move between massive structures inspired by iconic church imagery, in a piece which is sure to be powerful and incredible--otherworldly worlds within worlds.
At Glasgow Tramway, as part of Dance International Glasgow 5th and 6th May before going on to Edinburgh Summerhall 9th and 10th May.
